Dori Yez

Even though Dori Yez has appeared in numerous productions throughout the Shenango Valley, this is her first time acting on the GACT stage. She was honored to be chosen for two scenes and is looking forward to taking the audience on a heartwarming and humorous journey. Dori is thankful for the warm welcome from her fellow castmates at the unique Willam A. Robinson Theater.

For many years Dori taught dance at a few different studios; she was also a line dance instructor at various locations in western PA and eastern OH. Last year, Dori decided to take a break from teaching to focus on her grandson, who is the absolute light of her life. She is blessed to spend time with him and fortunate that her son and daughter-in-law live close by.

Since 2018, Dori has written a monthly article online for Cleveland Country Magazine. Her subject is usually about country line dancing, but she also writes about venues, bands, people, and other topics.
